CHARACTERISTICS :
The electrode gives a stable arc and smooth, rapid flow. It is easy to operate. The slag peels off easily leaving a smooth, shining bead. The dense bead makes surfacing work easy and fast. The weld metal is strong, ductile and tough and can resist impact very well.

APPLICATIONS :
Welding stainless steels to carbon steels, low alloy steels, cast steels and austenitic manganese steels. Depositing tough overlay on cast steel parts, austenitic manganese steel parts. Rebuilding of impellers, shafts, valve faces and seats and turbine blades to provide resistance to heat, abrasion erosion and corrosion.
